Settling in. Open to All
Living Quarters--room 042. Loki was...less than pleased by the items he'd been given, or that he had only a single room. It was better than the dormitories though, and he had made do with far less before. Still, the house robes...Red and Black, while nice, were not his colors.
His mind was already turning with the beginnings of plans. First priority was to learn the magic of this world. Apparently it was more effective than his own, and that annoyed him greatly. So learn this world's magic, get the lay of the land so to speak. Learn more about the major powers. Survive.
Find him in the common hall of the living Quarters, the Library checking books, or checking out Makerion Keep--since he is "House Ka". Feel free to mistake him for a different house with his green, gold, and black outfit however.
Personal Business--closed to Roisin Murphy
While settling in, Loki had not forgotten he'd agreed to help someone here. Roisin had managed to find most of the loopholes, while bargaining with him, and he was pleased. It was always more fun to work with clever people. Besides which, he truly did want to help her for now. Learning more about her unwilling passenger was necessary for his own purposes. Could the demon be friend or foe? How much of a threat was he?
The first step to doing all of this, would be learning more about how the demon was bound. Which meant taking a look at her tattoos. Sketching them, analyzing the way the magic wove through them--he could tell the general pattern, but not the details of the weaving yet. If the spells were 'clothes' she wore, he could tell the clothing was meant to protect and contain, like a coat-keeping body heat in. But the 'how' it kept the body heat in was what he was missing.
So he'll be looking for Rosh, while also learning his way around the campus.

She'd figured out her classes, and was acquainting herself with the buildings and where they were located. Roisin hadn't managed to go to college, but she'd taken a tour or two and had it explained to her, and there were some similarities. Up to and including having to take a specific class. For her, it was Modification, but she'd always liked math, and she used it a lot in baking, anyway. No sweat. She hoped.
As she's on her way to the Thaumaturgy classroom, she catches a sight of familiar black, gold, and green, and gives a shout. "'Ey! Loki! This coincidence or did ye have a hand in this?" Meaning their meet-up. Oh, there's a bit of mild teasing in there, but she's not sad to see him.
Re: Personal Business
The shout had him turning, and a smile as he paused. Waiting for her to catch up. "Rosh." That smile edged into a grin. "Better I leave you to wonder--you don't really expect me to answer that, do you?"

Going to class was going to be an adjustment for Rosh, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to apply herself all the same. The goal was an important one--if she could boot Haage out of her head, that meant she could have her own life back.
"So, ye think they'd let me in the kitchens tae help with feedin' the lot o' students fer some spendin' money, or do ye think they've got spells fer that?" Rosh thought it was a pertinent question. Not that she thought Loki had an answer. Just an opinion.

"Although that does remind me. I would like to get sketches of your tattoos. You aren't in a dorm are you?"

At the moment, she can be seen reading up on some history books regarding on the world's history with dragons.
Re: Settling In
Recognizing the girl, and several books she's reading from his own skimming of the selections, he moves over. Keeping his voice soft--they are in a library after all. "No gaggle of geese this time?"

Some purring could be heard under the table she is using as a lilac-point Siamese cat is seen napping around her ankles. The cat has not yet to be disturbed at the moment.

Einar shifted his head slightly from Loki's shoulder, looked at his 'wizard', and flicked his tongue out. He looked not quite disapproving, guessing at what Loki was thinking. Loki merely raised an eyebrow at the snake, before turning his attention back to Lena. If he understood the colors right, she was actually the house he merely wore colors similar too.

~Other boys you may have dated serrated your heart with a slice, but the cut of your love never hurts, baby, it's a sweet butter knife. She said you're just like Mike, love, but you wanna be Brian Wilson, Brian Wilson. She said you're just like Mike, love, but you'll never be Dennis Wilson!~
Excitement also has her dancing in a little circle, so she's probably a bit of a spectacle, but if you're not a new student, you're probably used to Isabel's antics by now. It does make her easy to spot, though!
Re: wildcard
Long strides brought him over rather quickly, hands behind his back. "I'm going to presume you are the one who asked me to get ice cream?" A dark brow arched, and Loki looked amused.

"That would be me. I'm Isabel Knight." She offered him her hand. If he shakes it, she's got a decent grip, but she's more enthusiastic than anything.
"So have you actually met any professors yet? Like Trammel?" Isabel doesn't always judge a book by its cover, but two years has her honestly trained to identify people's Houses by their robes. Not many people choose not to wear them, so it's also an honest mistake.
"He's all right, honestly. Sort of a wizard's wizard, really." Even if sometimes Isabel wondered if Professor Trammel wanted to be on a pedestal. He wasn't nasty or mean, though, so if anyone should be, Isabel figured it probably should be him.

His quill was poised over his scroll and he took notes, sitting somewhere near the back of the class. He'd learned the last time he was here that his height could cause issues for those that were shorter than him and there were..many that were.
And so he happened to glance up at a man wearing something akin to his own robe colours, the gold fore with a green back. While Hendrik didn't wear his robes, it was still something along the same lines. So the question sat in the back of his mind, and the Professor stepped outside of the class a moment.
So once the other man caught his eye, the knight nodded in acknowledgement of the other's presence. The Luminary was always on him to be more social though he still felt awkward at talking first to people he didn't know. For his charge's sake though he would try.
"Are you perhaps in the Gekronus Maius House?"

There towering over the masses was a gigantic walking stick that wasn't doing the best at blending into it's surroundings. There weren't exactly any 100 ft trees in the area for it to shimmy up so it was now leaning against the castle. In fact one of it's dome shaped eyes was remarkably close to the window Loki decided to peer out.
A bubble of laughter came from the direction of the bug's back, and there lounging lazily on the creature was a girl with fox ears, and a tail enjoying all the silly reactions of her classmates.]

But it didn't seem to bother June too much. She was perfectly content to simply climb up to reach the top shelf in order to scan for the book she needed. At least she was light enough that there wasn't much of a risk of the shelves tipping over.
Re: Settling in
Speaking of, it looks like they might be reaching for the same book up on one of the shelves.

"Oh! Do you need this one?" She snatches it up first, and the shelf wobbles just a little bit as she leans back to hold it out to him. "Here you go!"

Settling in - Library
He collides, though not too forcefully, with what he initially thinks might be a shelf, but ends up being a member of the student body. In his surprise, the tower of books in hand teeter and begin to slip, ready to jumble into an unsightly and potentially book-spine-damaging mess, when instead...
The books seem to come to rights midfall, saving all of them from harm as they pile miraculously and neatly together.
"Oof! Oh dear, dreadfully sorry, dear boy." He dusts himself off and gives a sheepish embarrassed smile. "Are you alright?"

"Very sorry. It's more a figure of speech, rather than a comment on your youth. How is your studying going?"
