OTA - Xion catch all for Mid Feb (CW: suicide mentions)

This is not how we stay hidden!

Well, Xion has come to accept that killing herself is pointless until she can find a way to erase people's memories of her here. But she is still trying to actively avoid letting people make memories of her, so she is mostly avoiding people. She hasn't been to her dorm, she might have ghosted into a few classes late if the door was left open, the stand in the shadows near the door, but would flee if spotted. In town she also tries to stick to the shadows and stay hidden.

Which works passably well for the first day or two. Until the incident. For some reason someone thought that she was someone else, some singer or... something. Some Somebody. They screamed a name, and when she looked over, confused, they took that to mean they were right. Next thing Xion knew a mob was forming, screaming that name and... chasing her. Because no way was she standing still for that, and even with her Keyblade and powers...what could she do? These weren't Nobodies, these weren't Heartless, she couldn't ATTACK. So she RAN.

Anyone want to help a Nobody?

Sunsets and surprises

So those who have already met Xion probably know that she thinks everything would be better if she were dead and forgotten. This isn't to say that her idea of this is groundless, but it is certainly concerning. So what might also be concerning is that she has developed a habit of exploring to find ledges and rooftops on tall buildings, looking for one where she could sit and watch the sunset.

But she's never told anyone this is what she is doing, or why she is wandering around ledges near the end of each day.... So it might look a little concerning...

She scrambled back away from him. "Ma...MArluxia....?" She hadn't gotten to really know Marluxia that well, but she knew what anyone from the organization other than Axel and Roxas thought of her.

His heart fell and he withdrew.

"No, I'm Eleven." But it might not be a name, he realized, pulse quickening. It could be a title in a language he didn't know. "I serve Yggdrasil."

"Number XI. Marluxia..." she whispered. "Vanished on the mission to the other castle."

Xion swallowed, then looked up. "Is... is it possible that you... you don't remember?" Had Xion actually met Marluxia? Those were the days before Xion was looking people in the face, so.. she wasn't sure. Roxas hadn't reached out to her until that mission had been underway, because he missed Axel, who had been the only one to return from the mission. The only one to survive.

Hadn't he?

Slowly, his brain worked out that she probably wasn't insulting him; she just had him confused with someone else. He breathed a quiet sigh and relaxed.

"I think you're confused," he said gently. "I'm not number eleven of anything; my name is Eleven. It's odd I know, but I didn't choose it. I remember everything of my life up until now."

"I... am XIV," she said softly. Maybe that would explain things? Unless....

She gasped, staring. Was... Was this Marluxia's.... Somebody? Maybe they hadn't been destroyed at all, the ones they lost... but they had somehow... regained their hearts? And Xemnas lied to them, to keep them from learning they could get their hearts back? Her eyes widened under her hood.

Eleven blinked, feeling the world sway for just a moment. What an odd coincidence? The thought echoed strangely.

"Well," he said with a faint smile and trying for humor. "I've only reincarnated the once so far. His name was Erdwin, though- not Ten."

Once I finish KHIII I can get her more icons, lol.

"Erdwin? Ten?" She was so confused. "Are... Are you Marluxia's Somebody?" Because that wasn't at all an odd question.

I've barely started myself. Rp has taken over my free time

Eleven tipped his head, then shook it. "I don't know anyone named Marluxia, so I'm sure we aren't related."

He hesitated. "..Unless that person is from Dundrasil?"

That was the only part of life he couldn't remember- a place with a castle, and disappearance could be explained by the invasion that night..

Might have KH III paused right now to do tags...

"Dundrasil?" She was so confused. "Marluxia Number XI of Organization XIII.... A Nobody...."

"Like me..." she whispered, Though that wasn't precisely true.

Eleven settled and shook his head again.

"I think we're talking about different things. I don't know anything about an Organization XIII."

He bit his lip and looked XIV over. He took a deep breath, swallowed and toyed with the flap on his bag. "..Does 'Luminary' mean anything to you?"

She shook her head. "Does Kingdom Hearts mean anything to you?" she asked, watching his face, carefully.

"No."

He closed his eyes a moment, then nodded. When he opened them again, his eyes found her and he bent to offer her a hand up again.

"We're from different worlds, then. Well met, XIV. ...Although, that was the strangest introduction I've ever gone through."

She hesitated, then took the hand, getting up. "Number XIV. Xion," she said, softly.

It was bad enough Webby was calling her XIV all the time. She didn't need two of them doing it. "And Nobodies can travel to different worlds, so... that never means much..."

"Xion, then," he repeated, a bit more at ease now that everything was.. mostly cleared up. But actually there were just different questions, now.

Eleven stared, hand slow to fall once she was standing.

"Nobodies can..?" She'd mentioned it before, but he had been too caught up at the time to ask. "What is- you're not no one."

"I am a Nobody." Sort of. She was less than a Nobody, but that was all anyone needed to know, for the moment.

"You aren't," he said with quiet conviction. If he believed that, then he'd have no choice but to believe that he's Darkspawn.

"But.. you can travel between worlds?"

Why did everyone keep saying that? She finally knew who and what she was, why did they all keep telling her she was wrong.

She closed her eyes and guestured. No dark corridor appeared. "I cannot access my powers here. Not even to RTC."

"Well no," he said as realization set in despite having no idea what she meant by RTC. Of course it would be a power, though. "But you could, before? ..Have you ever been to Erdrea?"

Could. Not. Resist.

"I do not know the names of all the worlds I was sent to on missions, but that does not sound familiar. Axel would know better. He's got them all memorized."

"Well that's all right, then." Really, no one should visit it in its current state, even if he was curious.

"..So who were the people chasing you, anyway?"

I so very dare.

"Just now... or before?" Sadly, she has to ask.

"Just now, I guess." He didn't know anything about what was 'before'. "Is that normal for you?"

She shook her head. "No one is supposed to see a Nobody, so we don't really get chased by people a lot. Just HEartless and other Nobodies."

Eleven smiled, though it faltered a bit to think Xion was used to being invisible except to people that wanted to hunt her.

"Well if people can see you now, then you must be Someone."

She shook her head. "If that was all it took to be a Somebody again, I don't think anyone would follow orders at all." Except maybe Saïx.
