Now that Xion and Lea have found each other, Xion isn’t letting him out of her sight if she can avoid it, afraid to find out that this wasn’t actually real. And that seemed to be mutual, so the two can be spotted the next day constantly with each other, as Xion shows him around from what she’s discovered. Which… mostly means good places to hide.

Xion’s hood would seem to be up to everyone but Lea until she actually pulls it down in the individual threads.

"Oh really? That's good. Hopefully they've all been nice."

Just from the little she knew about Xion, it sounded like she could use a lot of kindness in her life.

She managed not to make a rude noise, thinking of Atem.

"Well the ones I've met so far have been alright at least," Lea said. "Though one of them- Webby- was kinda hyper."

She can't help a small giggle. "Oh yeah. Webby is pretty...energetic." Which is just a nicer way of saying what Lea had. "She kind of reminds me of a friend I have back home, though."

"She climbed onto the roof from a window once, to try and talk to me..." Xion said quietly. That had been a little disturbing, at the time.

Honestly, that wasn't the strangest thing she'd ever heard.

"You should see my friend, Pinkie Pie. We're pretty sure she can teleport, with how she can just suddenly appear in places."

"Like... like the dark corridors?" she asked, startled.

She blinked, tilting her head curiously. “The what?”

"The way Nobodies like us travel...." she stopped, shook her head. "Just like me now, I suppose."

Xion was actually willingly socializing with someone! Sort of. Lea found himself torn on whether or not to speak up or let them continue.

Finally, he nodded his agreement with Xion's explanation. "I'm not sure if they'd work here though, even if our other powers did," he added. "They might be too tied to how our world works to be separated from it."

:Would be nice if we could Return To Dorm, the way we used to RTC, though..." she said, softly.

"It would save some time in the evening," Lea admitted. "But a little extra walking won't hurt us."

She... mostly wanted to use them to get back from the beach and to avoid people... and realized that she probably should not actually say that outloud. She looked down at her hands instead.

"Oh...I see." Glancing between the two of them, she offered Xion a smile. "Maybe...there's a spell in this world for teleportation? Or at least a spell that can be used for travel?"

"Maybe..." She wasn't sure she should count on that, though.

"Possibly, yeah," Lea agreed. "Though it'll probably be awhile before we learn it if there is one. I can think of a lot of ways a spell like that could go bad if something went wrong."

"Mm, that's true," she said with a nod. "I'd hate to think of what could happen if someone gets a spell like that wrong."

She considered that. She'd never really had spells go wrong for her. Generally they worked or they didn't, and if they did they were either strong enough or they weren't depending on what she was fighting. But they seemed to know what they were talking about, so she stayed quiet.

"From what little I've been able to pick up, that's why 'Sundering'- the kind of magic that brought us all here- was made illegal in the first place," Lea said. "Too much chance for it to go badly wrong. I mean yeah, most of us aren't exactly happy about being here, but we're not likely to deliberately cause much trouble. They could have just as easily pulled someone or something a lot nastier in though; it's just dumb luck that they didn't."

Even just the thought of that made her shiver a bit. "R-Right...it's kind of good that our magic or powers from our worlds don't seem to work here. If someone like that is brought in here, they won't be able to do anything for a little while at least."

Hopefully it would give them enough time to find a way to stop them.

"Some people don't need magic to be horrible...." she whispered to her gloves, not intending to be heard.

Xemnas, for one.

Lea nodded. "Yeah that's one good thing," he said. "Everybody is on mostly equal terms when they arrive. I mean yeah, we all have different levels of intelligence, physical strength, and things like that, but being without our powers does a lot to level the playing field, even if we don't like it."

"Right. Still, it might be good to keep an eye out for people, just in case."

Even if she hadn't heard Xion, she also knew that it was possible that the people who arrived here might not always have the best intentions.

But in times like those, all the more that they had to look out for one another.

"And without my Keyblade... no one can use me for it, right, Axel?" she asked, softly.

Lea nodded. "I know there's a few in particular I'm looking out for," he said.

"And yeah," he added turning to Xion. "No Keyblade and no Heartless pretty much puts the kaibosh to any attempt to do that again." Not that he doubted Xemnas or any of Xehanort's other incarnations could find other ways to make trouble if they turned up, but they were all safe from that particular scheme, at least.
