I see the future
Who: Hendrik
unswervingcompanion with the Luminary
bearshermark) & Open!
When: Early to mid April
Where: Around Anastra
What: Nobody Likes the Sundered Quest
[Anti-Sundered sentiment has been rising in Anastara lately, expressed in small but significant ways. Poorer service at stores, people taking a wide berth around obvious Sundered, graffiti here and there... This will be a major problem if it continues, of course. The question is, where is the source? You and your friends have a chance to discuss how you'll investigate, and where.]
The knight and the Luminary were walking side by side, trying to figure out what was causing the unrest that had been going on. Not one to sit idly by, Hendrik had decided to try and do something about it. He'd overheard fellow students stating that they were refused service and the knight noticed that he himself had been given a wide berth lately, but hadn't thought anything of it until the other students had begun talking around him.
The pair walked on and saw students sitting on a bench complaining about how rude the clerk at the store had been and this made the knight shake his head. And his eyes had noticed graffiti that wasn't very flattering towards the students. This reminded him of times that the knights of Heliodor had been looked down upon and his blue-green eyes narrowed.
Stepping away from the others, he turned to the Luminary. "The situation seems even worse than I had suspected. Something must be done with how poorly others are being treated."

"..We could ask the researchers what they think of it," he offered. "If they're trying to reverse the spell, they might be most familiar with it."

".... but if you want to start there be my guest." It wasn't if she would try to stop them. In truth, she'd just been in the area and overheard the discussion about the matter.

"If we're to start there, going to the headmaster would be the first place if these researchers don't know.
no subject
"..I think we should really ask the ones responsible directly. They'll probably be just as rude to us, but we might be able to gather why they're acting like they are. There could be a common theme or source to work from."

"....................................................................................."
Eleven's suggestion was so simplistic, that Hel almost felt stupid for not having come up with it herself. If they just wanted to focus on the immediate problem and not a long term one then confronting the culprits would accomplish that. They could literally just ask them.
"If they're even willing to talk- just be prepared for a fight if it comes to that."
no subject
"If there is a fight to be had, then we should be prepared. We do not know what these people are capable of doing, especially to those of us who merely come seeking wisdom."
Having to fight to get people to help, well Hendrik had seen and dealy with plenty of that in his time.

"I think we should be able to handle a fight, if it comes to that. Hendrik is pretty good at giving people second thoughts about starting one, though. But.. maybe we shouldn't approach them looking hostile."

Somehow, she seemed to have gotten herself involved in this when she'd only intended to comment on it idly.
That tended to happen even back home."Not hostile no- but not anxious either. We have every right to be here just as they do."

But once Hel said that last part, the knight nodded.
"She speaks truly, so let us begin these inquiries."
no subject
"Let's start with asking the clerk about the mistreatment of those students, then."
