Going going GONG. - OTA Gong adventure.
((Sho got the gong adventure. Italics are the mods post, the rest is my reply.))
The crashing sound of a gong keeps disturbing people around campus. During class, during lunch, late at night... who keeps doing that? If it's a prank, it isn't funny. Find out who it is!
You have succeeded at stage 1 with a roll of 18.
The gong-wielder turn out to be a grim and grizzled old man who treats gong-ringing like it's the only thing standing between humanity and death. Once you finally manage to corner him... what will you do?
THAT WAS SO ZETTA ANNOYING!!!!
But at least there was some good news. There was a 0.00001% chance that this yoctogram was right and humanity would be erased if the sound stopped. Well. Two birds one stone was just good math. But one attack and the whole human race? Zetta sweet.
Sho really does think that this is a UG, and thus this is his best shot at becoming Composer of this region... if he erases everyone here who doesn't serve him. Oh, he might have gotten distracted by the chance to teach math and art and stuff, but this? Becoming Composer? What more could an ambitious reaper want?
So when he got from the fool that this was what he was doing? The math was too beautiful to pass on.
"INFINITY!!!!!!!!!" Was all the warning he gave before enacting his i flare attack. But apparently the attack was imaginary because he didn't have the magic back to make it happen. Well fine.
She smacked the pin on his chest. "GIVE ME A REASON!!!!!"
You ever see what a motivated falcon could do to the human body?
"This yoctogram is garbage," he told his familiar, a mania in his eyes. "CRUNCH! Add him to the heap!"
(So basically, yes, Sho Minamimoto is going to be attempting to kill an old man. Quite possibly with his own gong. And if he is successful, he plans to use both man and gong in an art tower in the middle of campus. Such a lovely shade of red.....)

We probably should preplot some of this on plurk >.>
The falcon lifted itself high, then dove for Sora.
rofl definitely, i can set up a pp if you want?
Sure. Thanks. Sorry I'm a little... not with it today
As the falcon swooped back.

"SINE! COSINE! TAAAAAANGEEEEEEEEEEEENT!!!!!"
The spell was a half written slapdash thing based off of the few lessons he'd already had. Adapted to his own odd style, and using a bullhorn instead of, you know, a wand. All of this would be bad for someone who cared about precision with their magic. At all. Or who wanted to minimize the damage done. Sho was not that someone.
So the spell which was meant to erase the man killed him. And injured several a passersby. And the recoil knocked Minamimoto to the ground.
"Factorial...." he muttered, trying to sit up.
The familiar, confused by wanting to both follow orders and check on its owner hovered in the air, unsure, giving Sora a moment to breathe.

The familiar wasn't the only one that was confused. Sora hunched over for a couple seconds after the bird stilled suddenly, trying to catch his breath enough to get back on top of the situation, but as he slowly straightened up he realized he didn't even know how to process the situation, much less get back on top of it.
This was going horribly, horribly wrong. That was obvious right away.
He took a couple of dazed steps over towards the many passerby lingering around (why hadn't he gotten them out of there first? He hadn't even noticed them standing nearby)-- some had clearly visible injuries, even from where Sora was standing, but he couldn't do anything about that at the moment-- and it very quickly turned into a sprint. He dashed right past Minamimoto, skidding to a halt several feet away from what used to be the gong-ringer.
He couldn't care less about what state Sho was in, or figuring out what even went wrong with the spell. Grip on the stick tight with panic, Sora whirled around to face him.
"What... what'd you do?!"

Not a very conventional tool to fight with, but an effective one, Sora decided. He didn't care enough anymore to stop and consider the more serious injuries it could cause-- Sho didn't even seem to care that people had gotten hurt, let alone that someone had died because of him. He had this coming to him.
"Ugh! That's it!" Tossing his stick to the side with a furious huff, Sora hefted the palm-sized rock up in one palm. "I don't know what you're talking about or why you think you can treat people like-- like they don't even matter, but I'm not letting you do it anymore and I'm not letting anyone else get hurt."
It was more than fortunate that Sho was out of it enough that Sora could make it over without worrying about the guy attempting to escape-- or worse, pick up the fight again. He crossed over to him in short time and, bending down in one swift motion, gave him a very solid knock to the head with the rock. Enough, he was certain, to knock him out, though despite everything he didn't want to kill the guy. He wasn't that willing to get into trouble.
He'd drag the guy to the Headmaster, or at least a professor or somebody that could get him there while Sora found people to help heal all the bystanders. He'd heard more than enough from the other students to know that Sho was a chronic problem, and this had to be some kind of breaking point. No way he could keep getting away with stuff like this.
