H2Oh No - OTA

Who: Sho Minamimoto and whomever is unfortunate enough to cross his path

When: end of the month, ongoing.
Warnings: bad math puns, angst, violence mentions, icon with a gun in it. Casual cruelty.



At first the grim heaper hardly noticed the trickling water. This place was weird, weird things happened here. He was mostly used to it by now. So a trickle of water - okay often more than just a trickle - following him around...that was just the cost of being a reaper here.

Or so he thought.

Until one day the water was eroding a trash tower he was building and the whole thing - a perfectly balanced work of art held together by flawless calculations and precise placements - shifted ever so slightly as the water nudged a few key supports. The whole mess crashed down on top of him.

Maybe you found him under the trash heap and helped get him free? Or maybe you found what was probably the most hated teacher on campus trapped under his own trash and made things worse? Took photos? Or maybe you saw this coming and tried to warn him....

"Anyone can be iterated!"

"Honestly, I'm just hoping she stays worm chow for a few centuries."

"Noise erases more permanently."

[creepyoldguy]

"Uh-huh. Probably not demons, pal. That'd take an exorcism and I'm not gonna do that to Ma, because if it got screwed up? She'd do that to me."

The clones successfully moved enough trash that Sho could now get free without causing another cave-in.

"Plus taboo, subtract the problem," he said with a hint of a smirk as he pulled free and brushed himself off.

"Self multiplication? Not half bad."

The pair of clones gave Sho a cheerful thumbs-up before wandering off to investigate more of the school.

Beetlejuice would probably put them away later.

(Probably.)

"That's one of my fancier talents."

"You could always add a little flare..."

[creepyoldguy]

"What do you mean, fella?"

[grim_heaper]

"Clones plus oxygen plus heat minus fuel. Do the math."

[creepyoldguy]

"There is something seriously wrong with you. You don't create something just to treat it like crap."

He made a dismissive gesture. "Sure, they'll do stuff for a laugh, but, just setting 'em on fire for no comedic value or pay-off from the audience is lame."

"Clearly you need to add a sense of humor as well. That's just factoring hilarious."

"How about I set your art on fire instead, fella?"

[grim_heaper]

"You clearly subtracted the memory of the H x 2 + O." He pointed to the flow of water that had caused his tower to tumble in the first place.

"But if you wish to add to my art, yours wouldn't be the first body integrated."

"Obviously, you never saw the Cuyahoga River on fire," Beetlejuice said, unconcerned by the threat.

"And I've been killed by Bad Art before. This thing isn't even really art, it's just, bad."

Whelp, now all amusement has fled the reaper and if he could have spread his wings, he would have.

"If you can't see that this is a work of art then your opinions are GARBAGE! As are you! CRUNCH! Add it to the heap!" he said, advancing on Beetlejuice menacingly.

Beetlejuice's grin widened. "Are you sure you wanna dance, big guy?"

Sho pulled his gun and nodded. "Going to subtract a zero. It will make no difference on this world. But my smirk will be infinite!"

Goldenrod squawked and hid herself in Beetlejuice's hair.

The demon himself was already chuckling.

"X 2 DIE!" And he opened fire, shooting for the demon's gut.

The shot knocked Beetlejuice back a few feet and he doubled over. It certainly stung (okay, hurt) more than being maimed back home. But, one of the perks of being a born-dead demon from Hell, was he was in fact, hard to get rid of in the traditional sense.

He stood back up, cracking his neck to the left and then to the right, his hair shifting to a brilliant red.

"My turn," he grinned at the reaper. "I think I might make a little art of my own."

Okay well that was + interesting. He lowered the gun and lifted his megaphone with the other hand. "Bring it on, you factoring hectopascal!"

"I've never even met Pascal."

Beetlejuice grinned and advanced, tilting his head side to side as he approached. His fangs were fully visible and he stuck his striped tongue out of the side of his mouth in predatory thought.

"OH, I know." He suddenly stopped walking and cackled madly. The demon snapped his fingers and the wet debris on the ground began moving, slowly, towards Sho. Beetlejuice figured he could make some better art using the Maths professor as its focal point. He snapped his fingers again and every bit of trash and debris became striped in his (trademarked) pattern.

"I graduated from Juilliard you know. Acting is an art, so, this shouldn't be too different."

"YOU NEGATIVE YOCTOGRAM! YOU DISTURBED MY FLAWLESS BEAUTY!" Furious he aimed his megaphone. If the gun didn't work, well he had other spells to use on this plane now.

"SINE! COSINE! TANGENT!" He yelled using his favorite brute force attack spell right at the stripy zero, aiming wildly, despite the point blank range.
