It had all of us dressed all stuffy in gowns and dress robes and my friend had to wear pink dress robes from one of his relatives.

It was okay in the end, it is just so happened that it was mostly meh for me at the time since I was trying to ask a girl to be my date, but she went with someone else as he asked her first, so I was stuck with my house mate of mine and we barely got along on that night.
It was even worse for my friend as he got very jealous of a Bulgarian man having our friend as his date in there out of, erm, overprotective of her.

But I somehow managed to have a kiss with her the year after, but by then, she had lost her date at the end of the school year and things got very complicated for me during that school year.

That next school year was filled with a lot of hardships for me: being accused for lying, getting always frustrated and angry to the point of lashing out at my friends, having a terrible government official for a professor who the held an iron grip on my school, having nightmares, running an underground student club, and I lost my godfather by the end of the year.
Long story short, my fifth year was a trainwreck I couldn’t escape from.

(He lets out a huge sigh: his fifth year wasn’t a good time, of the stress, the pain, and the actions he regretted of doing. No one shouldn’t go through what he has been through back home ever.)
Oh well, maybe we change topics before I start to feel bad remembering some more bad memories.

(He hasn’t gotten around to pick a food since there is a wide variety of food on the buffet table that he does a hard time to pick one easily.)

(So he goes to check out the food buffet once again to see if there is something among the food spread that would catch his eyes. After minutes of looking around, he gets to pick up some appetizers since he doesn’t feel too hungry at the moment.
Taking the first one, a caprese-like skewer, he takes a bite of tomato, cheese, and basil in small bits and proceeds to chew on them for a while, letting the flavors to sink in before swallowing them down.)

...Mm! This is pretty good!

The food spread in here is really good. This city really knows how to have a really good food spread, I haven’t been to a major feast in a long time.

It never hurts to have new experiences in a different place.
