A Disorganization Of Introductions - OTA
Now that Xion and Lea have found each other, Xion isn’t letting him out of her sight if she can avoid it, afraid to find out that this wasn’t actually real. And that seemed to be mutual, so the two can be spotted the next day constantly with each other, as Xion shows him around from what she’s discovered. Which… mostly means good places to hide.
Xion’s hood would seem to be up to everyone but Lea until she actually pulls it down in the individual threads.
(Feel free to poke here to get a two for one reply!)

"Also what's 'Ragnarok'?", he asked. "It sounds like the name of a band."

But her reaction to the weapon wasn't his. Roxas and Axel had spent her whole existence protecting her. For what little her non-life was worth... she had made the choice to spend it returning that favour, so she moved defensively in front of Axel. Which.... was a bit like a kitten trying to hide a Saint Bernard behind her. She didn't make much of a shield.
If anything the attempt fell somewhere between cute and pitiful. Though if they had had their weapons.... Well she would have been more formidable, even if she didn't look the part... but Axel also wouldn't need protection... So.... yeah.
She was still new to this being brave thing and it was hard, okay?!

She still held the gun up, which was probably loaded... she thought. It was a much different sort of weapon than the one she usually used and it did feel odd to hold it like this.
What didn't feel odd was this method of meeting. Everyone in her world was a little 'fight first and ask questions later'. It was just the way they did things. As the pair didn't strike at her however she didn't pull the trigger at them. She still held it up defensively but if they wanted to talk first and fight later, as backwards as that seemed to her, it was fine.
"But you were definitely sneaking. Your favorite places in the school are all hiding spots? What about the courtyard? It's so lovely and sunny there... when it isn't raining. Or the roof? You can get a wonderful view of the castle from up there."

Which was why the gun was aimed at the pair of you.

"Look, neither of us is armed, we don't know much of this world's magic yet, and we don't know anything about this 'Ragnarok' thing, so why don't you put the weapon down and talk to us like a normal person. Because I imagine the authorities around here would take a pretty dim view of you shooting two fairly harmless students because you thought they looked funny."

Confused she tilted her head to one side.
"Unless you mean you want to fight first? Usually that is how we Aesir usually end up making friends. But if you don't have any weapons that would be kind of silly... it would be different if you could fly."
Still puzzled she slowly lowered her Projector only... it slipped out of her hand and triggered as it landed on the ground, shooting a rune into both of the two cloaked figures. Oddly enough it didn't hurt. Instead they began to feel weightless, capable of flight like Skuld had wished for. As it turned out the 'gun' was less a weapon and more of a magical augmentation device.
"Oh my! Are you alright?!"

And suddenly neither for them were actually falling to the ground. Instead they were left floating somewhat awkwardly in midair. "Surprisingly, yes," he said. "Just a little... floaty. And the fact that you care is even more surprising, since you were ready to shot us a minute ago."
Lea attempted to right himself or move through the air, but found himself only marginally successful at both. It wasn't anything like flying in Neverland, where flight was as simple as thinking it and angling your body the right way. "I don't suppose you know how to fix this?", he asked the winged woman.

She spoke as she picked up the projector and flipped it around in her hand to make sure it hadn't broken. Durable thing, it looked fine.
"Hmm, no."
With a flap of her wings she was by their side, hovering next to them with an easy bit of wingwork.
"You see I've never used magic like this before... But since that is the case it can't possibly last very long. I'm sure it will wear off in an hour or two."
A small pause for thought.
"Or a day... I wonder how long runes last in this world."

She zipped up above them to give Axel a light push back towards the ground.
"And watch out for the ceiling."

"I think if you wiggle around like that you won't get anywhere at all."
Have a friendly push back towards the ground too, like you are a balloon filled with helium.
"Try to think of it like swimming?"
no subject
Also, she had no idea how to swim. It wasn't like she ever fought Heartless under water....

"Grab hold of my hand, Xion," he said. "Once you manage to get right side up it's not so bad."
Dang it, I HAD the perfect icon for this, but deleted it as I have too many images waiting to icon..

"Maybe flying is easier with wings. I could use the Projector again and see if another ruin gives you wings? But um... You might end up with two heads or something worse."
no subject
"Flying in Neverland was a lot easier, once you got the hang of it," he said. "After the initial moment of floating, you just had to think about it, then angle your body the right way, and boom, you were flying. Nothing like the flailing around we have to do here."

How to fix it... She did try to think of a way but as she hadn't meant to use that magic in the first place and was completely green to the magics of this world that was easier thought than accomplished.

He shook his head at the winged woman's idea. "It doesn't," he said. "That was the first thing I tried. Like I said, this is more floating than it is flying; there doesn't seem to be any practical way for somebody without wings to propel themselves like this, except maybe bouncing off the walls. And given that the walls are stone, I'm not about to test my luck there."
