She smiled a bit as she held the rat, gently petting it before reaching into her bag and pulling out some bits of bread to see if it was hungry. Then she glanced back at Lea again.

"Well, I can understand all that. A lot of us were taken from our own worlds and brought here and told we had to learn this world's magic. But...it's because of all that that I think it's nice to have a friend to help you get through it, isn't it?"
