He realized she didn't see herself the way that he did and that was only natural. So he wasn't going to argue with her, and Hendrik had no fight left in him at all.

With her then leaning against him, Hendrik smiled as her arms came around him. Hesitantly a hand came up to rest on the back of Yotsuyu's dark head at the words about making sure he ate. And to his surprise, his voice came out softer than he'd ever heard it.
