[001] OTA Log
[ Fire Bunnies. ]
Ken had been amazed when he heard one of the professors mention the possibility of creating live creatures. Though, he left before he could really hear the whole thing. Now, here he is, in the school's courtyard attempting to do the trick. What Ken wants to do is start smile with a simple rabbit. That seems like something not to complicated for him. Ken closes his eyes and thinks of the three essentials to casting spells; sound, sight and semantics.
Ken moves his wand in what would make the shape of a rabbit which...is a bad idea. There's a sudden bright light which causes Ken to let out a small shout of surprise. Suddenly, a fireball comes out and begins running away like it has a mind of it's own. Soon, others appear much to his despair and begin to scatter away in different directions. Ken could only look on.
"What am I going to do...?"
[ The Quest for Knowledge ]
Ken traces his hand through his hair, trying to properly find the book he is looking for. The librarian gave him the location through their...odd form of sorting and now he is unsure as to where he's even going. "Does the two mean it's closer to the ground or...higher up?" Ken looks up at the large shelf that he managed to find himself in front of. There is a ladder there. It wouldn't hurt to just search, right? Though, it was pretty high up but...he is brave! He can do it! Definitely! Ken gives himself an encouraging pat on the cheek before he begins ascending the ladder.
It's only when he is near the top does he feel a certain wobble to the ladder. He clings on tightly. "Oh nononono..." He quietly whispers to himself as he clings onto the ladder.

Question for anyone. Would you or would you not use forbidden magic? And why?
[Wildcard]
If you just want to do something else, surprise me!

quest for knowledge
Sunset is a regular at the library, and she's just picking some new books on musical theory when she sees the other student flailing. She dashes forward and throws her weight at the middle of the ladder, hopefully pinning it to the bookshelf.
"You okay up there?"

"Thanks, a lot!"

Sunset redoubles her grip, trying her best to look reassuring.

"Okay, I'm on my way down now!" He begins descending the ladder, trying to balance the book with each step down. He's almost to the ground when he loses balance and falls. Luckily for him, nothing is broken. But it still does hurt.
"Ow..."

Sunset immediately squats next to him, holding out a hand. She'll wait for him to assess the damage before offering any more help, since she's still new at this whole thing.
