Cliff actually manages to feel confident, especially since the suit he's wearing doesn't really clash with Sunset's altogether lovely dress. He might be treating it more like a date than is strictly necessary, but he feels a little overkill might not hurt. It'd make for a memorable night, anyway. Or so he hoped!

"I hope you can forgive me for not being a flower guy," he said sheepishly. "That circlet I had was for Rounder's date. I brought this for you." With that, he offered Sunset a handmade barrette, clearly something he'd worked on himself. He was pleased to see that not only did it go with her coloring, but it complimented the dress nicely as well.

"I am planning to cut in on Rounder at least once, too, though I'd like to save a couple dances for you, if you don't mind?"
