Thunder and Lightning - Possibly Frightening? OTA
Xion wanted what Axel had said to be true. Which was exactly why she didn't trust it. Things she wanted didn't happen, or if they did they didn't last or came with too high a cost. She wanted to do a good job, and she had managed it for only a short time and had hurt Roxas doing so. She had wanted to stay with her friends forever. She had wanted to be seen by the rest of the Organization as one of them.
The few good things that had happened and lasted? They were things that she hadn't known that she wanted. She hadn't wanted a friend until Roxas said they were friends. She hadn't wanted to be Axel's friend until they were friends because she didn't know him. She hadn't wanted sunsets and ice cream. Those things happened without her knowing she wanted them.
She hadn't even wanted Axel here, because she was sure if he was there she wouldn't have the courage to finish what she had to do. She couldn't have imagined him showing up and telling her that she succeeded.
But now that he was here... he had told her that there was no one here giving them missions. That no one was trying to use them. She wanted that to be true. Which was why she didn't trust it. And a building that only existed during a lightning storm? That sounded like the kind of place that someone like Xemnas would be using as a base. So she had to investigate to see if there was someone sinister there, waiting to drop the news on them all that the Sundered were just a new sort of Organization....
So she picked a rainy night, a night there was already thunder, and she headed out. She told Axel where she was going. She had a suspicion that even having not been told there were a few - Webby - who would find her anyway. She had done missions as a team before, so that didn't bother her. And without her Keyblade, the help would even be welcome.
So she had practiced to be ready, one specific spell. What she found was some odd sort of merger between the weird magic of this world - wands make no sense, okay? - and the lowest level lighting spell from home. It would have to be enough.
So on a dark and stormy night she, and whoever was tagging along, was going out in the rain to find this building. Seeing it in a flash of light, she lifted her wand like she might have lifted her Keyblade. "THUNDER!" creating a prolonged crash of lightning between her and the building. She walked while it was there, and when it vanished, she paused to cast the spell again....
And yes, her hood is up.

But so was simple curiosity. Because a vanishing building was just interesting, no matter what world one was on, and Lea was nothing if not impulsive. So now that he'd seen it was real, he debated only briefly whether to return to the dorms or not. It was still too long for him to approach her normally though, as she prepared to cast the spell again; he readied himself to make a dash for the door, just in case she made it there this time.

"THUNDER!!!!!!!"
Another aimed burst of lighting and she dashed into the door.
If she had known he was there, she would have waited, you know...

Regardless, he saw his chance, and when Xion made a dash for the door, so did Lea, who was never more grateful for his much longer stride. It would be close, but he wouldn't be far behind her.
These kids are a mess. (No Keyblade, obviously)
So she wasn't taking Axel to the beach with her when she went to get shells for Roxas. But once Roxas showed up and the three of them got to spend time at the beach together, then she thought it might be okay.
But she had been hoping this would have been a mission with Axel... but he hadn't seemed like he wanted to come. And she wasn't going to try and make him do something he didn't want to do.
With the loud sounds of the storm outside, she hadn't heard him come racing up behind her, but suddenly there was warmth at her back just as she got in. She whirled around dropping into a defensive crouch, then stood up, startled when she saw who it was.
"A...Axel?"
They really are. But we love them.
"Oh, hey, Xion. Uh... lovely weather we're having tonight, isn't it?" Yeah. Nailed it.
We do. Thought you were too tired for logs, lol.

"Well I thought you wanted me to stay back," he said. "So I figured I'd let you do this on your own if you wanted. But then I got curious and decided to check it out too, so..." He gestured vaguely at their surroundings as if to say 'and here we are'.

Mod post for us to go off of.
However, a floating ball of plasma emerges from the images and approaches them with purpose. What do you do?]
And continuing.
She started to say, and then she saw the plasma ball coming at them. One hand dropped to her side to summon her Keyblade and again... nothing....

He barely had time to process what he was looking at though, before a weird plasma ball... thing appeared, flying in their direction. Lea too reflexively tried to summon a weapon, but got nothing, as usual. Crap.
Honestly, he wasn't even sure it was an attack, but just in case, he wasn't about to keep standing in one spot. "Well if we can't deflect, dodge," he said. "You that way, me this way." Lea ducked to one side, though the shifting surroundings slowed him down a bit. Hopefully Xion would duck to the other side and the attack- if attack it was, would fly right between them. And if it was something other than an attack... semi-surrounding whatever-it-was could put them at an advantage. Maybe?

And really REALLY wishing her Keyblade would appear.
