[Probably not a surprise that Chaos is the one to find Eleven first; he has an envelope addressed to the acolyte in his mouth, fangs delicately piercing one tiny corner. Inside, a short message, with enough space on it for a reply, if El chooses.]

Anything for you, you know. :) What's up? Need to meet somewhere?

[Eleven sends back his reply via his own bright-winged familiar. They certainly don't need to meet up, but, well..]

I'd love to, if you have the time.

[Chaos is used to passing messages along, so he's quick enough to return. Even with some alacrity, for a cat...]

For you I do. Where do you want to meet up?

There was some ice cream place I have memories of. Does that still exist here?

The Ice Creamatorium! It does! What time? I'll treat!!

Would you mind meeting there soon?

[And he's early actually, worried about being late as he is for what ostensibly is not a date but still, there's a part of him that hopes. He's dressed in his usual travel wear rather than his house robes, as though that might help at all.

Eleven offers her a smile and wave when his eyes find her, though both falter as she draws near]

..Ah, I haven't even told you what I'm asking yet, have I?

[There's a skip in her step as Isabel makes her way into the Ice Creamatorium, but she didn't really expect El to look a bit hangdog when she actually arrives, and that has her eyebrows going up.

Though she chuckles at his question.]

No, but this is you. I know you're not the one who's gonna ask me to do something I disagreed with. So, what's up?

[He glances down, dragging a self-conscious hand behind his neck. It feels like a lot, and he has even less to give her to work with]

Well, I was hoping to ask you to perform during the festival for one of the temples..

Me? One of the temples? I mean--sure! But which one? Or does it matter?

[Really, she wasn't the religious type, so it didn't matter that much to Isabel. It was clearly something important to him, though...]

But sure, I'd be happy to help. Did you have anything specific in mind?

[He smiles relief, then gestures them inside the shop]

There's one temple I don't have anything specific in mind for. I found stories for Obersion and Raida, but Machalabie is a mystery, after all. I wondered if perhaps that air of mysterious sacred ground could be worked into some sort of dance?

I'd do it just because I'd love to see the inside of Machalabie...they don't always let civilians inside. [Though that depends on which god was currently in possession of the temple...and how sneaky the civilian trying to get in was. It wasn't as if Isabel wanted to dishonor the place...

In any case, she precedes him in, letting her eyes settle on the day's offerings.]

Mysterious, sacred, and also reverent...I think I can do that. I'll see which god is ascendant at the temple, too, if any. Can't hurt to invoke them if they're there, but I can try to work it for the broader mythology, I think. How does that sound?

[He grins, worries assuaged. That she has an interest in the temple is heartening, too]

That sounds wonderful. I'll be sure to introduce you to the priests there currently, so you should be free to visit.

[Which, honestly, makes him feel better about this whole thing just for that. He's gaining connections.

His eyes scan the menu, and laughs shortly] I'd forgotten about the odd names and themes.

With a name like Ice Creamatorium, how could you forget? [Isabel laughs at that. Then again, she ought to know how weird things can get between worlds, even if she didn't go home. Not like her dad or her grandpa hadn't told her about that sort of thing...]

Hmm. Chocolate Cherry Threnody or Devil's Food Dirge? I don't think I can go wrong either way, they're both chocolate...

Maybe one scoop of each? I did say I was buying!
