The moment he wanted something, yes, Alec would be there, would help, etc, and perhaps that was meant as a bit of judgement or scolding or at the very least telling him off for being so damn spoiled, but he was spoiled and Alec just kept spoiling him. And here he was agreeing to terms that, while not family, still gave the very spoiled Angel a bit of what he wanted: Alec and Crowley and some semblance of togetherness.
Perhaps he should be insulted that Alec didn't think he could leave Aziraphale to his own. He didn't get in THAT much trouble, thank you very much, but goodness if getting into trouble allowed him to spend time with certain people, well. No, he did get into an awful lot of trouble.
