The bullhorn was a touch unnecessary, he thought, wincing and wiggling a finger in one ear.

"Whoa, uh. Studying I can do, but aren't teachers supposed to teach? I don't even know what half those symbols are, and we don't even know what it's for. Am I ... is this a spell, or something? You don't want me messing up spells. Trust me."
