Louie nodded, skidding to a stop once they were beyond the apparently off-limits hallway.

"Hopefully. That would keep it down long enough for someone who's been at this magic stuff longer to come around and fix it." He paused, then added, "If they feel like it, since apparently the teachers didn't."
