Kamala nodded eagerly at the statement about the food. "It's great! I mean, the other day, I was eating this salad... Sandwich thing? And it tasted like bacon, even though I'm sure it was a plant!"

Well, she can't really be sure. She's definitely telling herself it has to be a plant, though, and not actually bacon.

"I don't eat pork," she went on to add, feeling that needed an explanation.
