Those were simple directions and Hendrik felt as if he could follow that. So he nodded and turned in the direction that Yotsuyu had indicated, still on the lookout for danger, even if it was from a misdirected reveler.

It was in his nature to protect, having grown up from a boy learning the code of the knight. And heavens help anyone that hurt the Luminary and now Yotsuyu. Hendrik knew that she could more than handle herself, and certainly wouldn't get in her way. That went for the Luminary as well, but the role of a protector was just so heavily built into who he was now that he knew practically nothing else.
