Isa found the whole thing frustrating, Lea and Roxas weren't so fragile that feeling a little sad or angry would hurt them, they didn't need protection from that. But Isa knew that Xion likely didn't realize the implications of what she was saying.

"Wanting to protect your friends is an admirable goal, but, you need to understand that hiding things and bottling everything up doesn't actually spare anyone's feelings, it just makes everything worse..."

He pauses, he may not know what sort of spell has Xion in its enchantment, but he can see the results, that it makes it impossible for her to keep from speaking her mind.
