The knight quickly looked at Yotsuyu as she spoke to Eleven. His eyes closed and he sighed because he'd never thought to even ask her about a birthday. Growing up only Jasper celebrated Hendrik's birthday and that was usually with some sort of cake or pie, and sneaking leftovers from the royal kitchens.

As the years passed on not much changed, except the blonde knight sneered at him on his last birthday. And from then on, he'd vowed not to celebrate it anymore.

Opening his eyes now, Hendrik nodded to her. "Happy birthday." Now he was going to have to figure out a gift somehow.
